Work hours: 4:00 p.m. – 2:30 a.m. Monday – Thursday
Overtime as needed to meet production goals.
General Description:
Assist the Paint department by painting and repairing boats to produce the highest quality product.
Responsibilities:
- Understand and efficiently carry out all aspects of the North River paint process for each model of boat
- Assist Painter Helpers in pre-cleaning and ensuring boats are properly prepped
- Read and understand all aspects of work orders
- Keep parts organized neatly
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Must use proper safety equipment for every specific task
- Maintain a high level of quality
- Work to maintain a productive and positive work environment by proactively communicating with your lead and other leads/supervisors in the paint department
- Perform all other duties as assigned and appropriate to the position
Requirements for the job:
- Must have a good working knowledge of North River manufacturing process
- MUST have experience with the automotive painting process
- Must ensure materials are being used efficiently with minimal waste
- Must know proper disposal procedures
- Must be able to communicate with all levels of personnel
- Must come to work with a good attitude and be a team player
- Must maintain an above average attendance record
