The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the physical plant. Responsible for all functions required to keep physical facility in good repair and safe for residents, staff, and visitors. Conducts a variety of preventative and restorative maintenance duties. Follows established Federal, State, County and City codes and regulations.
A High school diploma, GED or educational equivalent is required. We prefer at least 2 years of experience in a similar position with knowledge of plumbing, electrical and mechanical repairs, general construction knowledge and general maintenance procedures. Must have valid driver's license and good driving record. With the knowledge to operate a computer and communicate effectively.
Additional responsibilities will include the preventative and restorative maintenance repairs such as wheelchairs, beds, light fixtures, etc. Painting, patching drywall, replacing ceiling and floor tiles and minor electrical repairs, replacing lighting and light fixtures, plumbing repairs, reporting, and recording information pertaining to preventative maintenance.
Compensation & Benefits

This full-time health care position works 8-hour shifts (Monday - Friday), 8:00am - 4:30 pm, with every 5 weekend on-call rotation.
