Job Description: Digital Media Specialist

Location: 4995 Golden Foothill Parkway, El Dorado Hills, CA 95762

Type: Full Time, W2 Hourly, On-site Monday to Friday

Job Overview

We are seeking a talented Digital Media Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing digital media and communication strategies for various client projects while also contributing to the growth of our firm through impactful marketing and business development initiatives. This position will involve content creation, strategy development, and collaborations, both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Projects: Lead digital media and communication strategy projects for a diverse range of clients, ensuring successful execution and measurable outcomes.
• Digital Media Creation: Manage the production of digital content (videos, graphics, podcasts, blogs, social media posts) that resonates with target audiences for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Marketing Strategy: Collaborate on marketing campaigns that promote the firm’s services and enhance brand awareness; contribute to overall business development strategies.
• Analytics and Reporting: Utilize analytics tools to track the performance of digital media initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with various stakeholders to understand their digital media needs, ensuring alignment with overall communication strategies.
• Content Management: Maintain and update digital asset libraries, ensuring that all digital content is current and accessible.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate digital strategies with overall business goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Information Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience in digital media production, content creation, and strategy development.
• Strong proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics, email marketing, and content management systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas for digital content.
• Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing tools is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Understanding of current digital media trends and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the consulting industry or working with professional services firms
• working with public sector organizations
• placement and distribution of key messaging across print and digital media
• creating a successful statewide public engagement campaign
• audience research, capturing and measuring impact of campaigns on public sentiment
• Familiarity with working on statewide campaigns targeting multiple and diverse audiences, including rural and urban, etc.
