What are the responsibilities and job description for the UTILITY SERVICE REP BILLING position at North Richland Hills City Hall?
UTILITY SERVICE REP BILLING
The purpose of this position is to provide City utility customers with timely and accurate billing of utility services. This is accomplished by analyzing data from meter readings, posting accurate meter readings in computer system, running specialized billing calculations, generating bills for water services, ensuring monthly bills for utility services are distributed on time, preparing final bills for termination of service customers, providing customer service support, issuing work orders for activation and termination of services, ensuring non-payment of services results in cut-off of services and entering and processing applications for new fire hydrant accounts and bills. Other duties include maintaining the filing system, generating, and distributing delinquent account and billing information to customers, tracking billing cycle dates, providing information to businesses on utility services, and interacting with other employees and citizens. This position does not provide direction to other employees.

What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or Equivalency.
- Two years’ customer service-related experience in accounts receivable or billing.
- Valid Texas Class C Driver’s License.
