About the Role:

Our trained professionals provide free, immediate, and confidential support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week because help shouldn’t have to wait. We deliver intensive, compassionate care to individuals who experience acute mental health symptoms of substance use withdrawal, meeting people where they are in moment or crisis and transition.

Our Acute Treatment Unit (ATU) is a safe, treatment-centered environment designed for individuals in crisis. With 24/7 medical supervision and consultation, ATU offers comprehensive support focused on stabilization, safety, and the first steps toward recovery.

Out Withdrawal Management (Detox) program operates around the clock, serving individuals who are intoxicated, actively withdrawing, or at risk of withdrawal. We prioritize dignity, safety, and evidence-based care during someone the most vulnerable moments of a person’s recovery journey.

As a Behavioral Health Supervisor, you play a pivotal role in transforming lives. You will help bring individualized care plans to life by supporting clients navigating complex mental health and substance use challenges, while ensuring care is delivered in alignment with North Range Behavioral Health policies and standards.

In this role you, you sill supervise daily and nightly program operations, monitor client participation in group sessions and therapeutic activities, and help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive treatment environment. You’ll coach and mentor clients as they practice coping strategies, build accountability, and engage meaningfully in their recovery.

Beyond day-to-day supervision, you’ll serve as a trusted source of encouragement and advocacy, helping remove barriers to resources, supporting emotional well-being, and empowering clients to make lasting progress toward stability and wellness.

This position includes eligibility for a monthly performance bonus.
 

What You Will Do:

  • Mission-Driven Leadership: Uphold North Range Behavioral Health’s mission to provide compassionate care for mental health and addiction challenges.
  • Team Supervision: Oversee up to six Behavioral Health Workers, delegate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of priorities.
  • Employee Development: Train and mentor new hires, ensuring they complete required certifications and maintain compliance with documentation standards.
  • Program Management: Assist in program supervision, coordinate schedules, and provide input on complex client cases and interventions.
  • Policy and Procedure Oversight: Help update policies and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Client Support: Facilitate admissions, orientations, and group or individual counseling. Monitor behavior, implement care plans, and assist in crisis intervention as needed.
  • Medication Management: Oversee inventory, facilitate refills, and ensure proper medication administration.
  • Crisis and Safety Response: Act as a crisis intervention specialist, using de-escalation techniques and maintaining safety protocols.
  • Operational Duties: Manage petty cash, coordinate external communications, and represent the organization to external agencies.
  • Administrative Support: Maintain accurate records, align services with payer requirements, and support billing processes.
     

You’re a Great Fit If You:

  • Have a High School Diploma or GED
  • A valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets agency insurability requirements.
  • Have 2 years of experience in a medical or behavioral health setting.
  • Medication Aide Certification is highly desired, although training can be completed post hire.
