About the Role:
At North Range Behavioral Health, we believe access to compassionate, high-quality care starts the moments someone walks through our doors or reaches out for support. Our Office Professionals play a vital role in making that first connection welcoming, organized, and grounded in respect.
This position supports the day-to-day operations of a designated program by providing thoughtful administrative support and exceptional customer service to clients, families, and community partners. Working with limited supervision, the Office Professional manages a wide range of administrative responsibilities, from routine office tasks to more complex operational functions, while exercising sound judgement and discretion in decision-making that directly impacts program operations.
In this role you will serve as a steady, reliable presence within the program, helping ensure office operations run smoothly so our clinical teams can remain focused on delivering person-centered, trauma-informed care. Your attention to detail, ability to problem-solve independently, and commitment to service will help create an environment where both clients and staff feel supported, respected and valued.
This is an opportunity to be part of a mission-driven organization where your work behind the scenes plays a meaningful role in supporting mental health and strengthening our community.
What You Will Do:
- Serve as a welcoming, professional first point of contract for clients, families, and visitors, creating a respectful and supportive experience from arrival to departure.
- Answer, screen, direct calls and inquiries with care, accuracy, and a high level of customer service.
- Act as a connector between clients, providers, departments, and community partners to support clear communication and timely problem resolution.
- Support client access to services by explaining processes, forms, fees, and requirements in a clear, compassionate way.
- Maintain accurate client records, schedules and documentation using electronic health systems while upholding strict confidentiality standards.
- Schedule and manage appointment calendars, proactively backfilling cancellations to maximize access to care.
- Demonstrate fiscal responsibility by supporting collection processes, calculating sliding-scale fees, and working with payors to support service authorization and payment.
- Support efficient office operations by maintaining records, processing mail, managing inventory, and operating standard office equipment.
- Contribute to a safe, organized, and welcoming environment by maintaining shared spaces and reporting safety or equipment concerns.
- Assist with meetings, trainings, reports, correspondence, and special projects that support program and agency goals.
- Collaborate with leadership to support workflow improvements, policy application, and training and support staff.
- Provide flexible coverage across programs or sites as needed to ensure continuity of services.
You’re a Great Fit If You:
- Have a High School Diploma or a GED.
- Have at least 1 year of experience in an administrative support position.
- Preferred fluency in both English and Spanish to best support the individuals and families we serve.
Perks and Benefits:
- Generous PTO and paid holidays
- Multiple medical, dental, and vision plans at no cost to employees
- Health Reimbursement Account
- Retirement plan with employer contributions
- Loan forgiveness opportunities
- Employee referral bonuses
- Professional development opportunities
