About the Role:
Children thrive when they have regular interactions with responsive, caring adults, and adults support children best when they have a community they can depend on. Our Early Childhood mental health team weaves social support together to create a net that catches caregivers when the water gets rough, increasing a family’s capacity for resilience.
The Early Childhood Team supports families who have children from 0-8 years of age. Our multi-generation approach engages parents, families, and caregivers in the intervention and weaves evidence-based screening, assessment, consultation, trauma, intervention, psychoeducation, and mental health therapy into the experience.
Our Mental Health Clinicians can help children and caregivers strengthen their wellbeing.
This position includes eligibility for a monthly performance bonus.
What You Will Do:
- Provide person-centered assessment, goal planning, and treatment for mental health and/or substance use issues. Provide screening, intakes, and assessment of clients utilizing required instruments and formats within appropriate timelines.
- Develop strength-based written treatment plans/updates and continuing care plans and make appropriate referrals. Complete written discharge summaries and correspondence within established timelines.
- Assist individuals in improving their well-being and quality of life by training in behavioral skills; educate clients to make information choices; develop client coping skills; help clients to solve problems and negotiate tasks of daily living.
- Maintain electronic health records in accordance with agency standards; confirm coding of services rendered is ethically appropriate and results in successful billing.
- Learn, utilize, and support fidelity of any evidence-based practices within assigned program to ensure effective interventions with clints.
You’re a Great Fit If You:
- Have a Masters Degree in a Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Addictions Counseling, Rehabilitation Counseling, or other relevant clinical degree from an accredited college of university.
- Spanish-English bilingual skills are highly preferred and warmly welcomed, but not required for the role.
- Have a valid driver’s license and an insurable driving record.
- Can successfully complete pre-employment screening, including background check, fingerprinting, and drug and TB testing.

Salary : $56,485 - $84,829
