About the Role:
Multi-Systemic Therapy (MST) is a family- and community-based program that helps youth and their families break the cycle of high-risk behaviors by strengthening the relationships and systems that matter most. Through meaningful partnerships with caregivers and other supportive adults, MST empowers families to create last positive change.
MST clinicians provide intensive, in-home services and on-call support, meeting families where they are during some of their most challenging moments. The MST team works collaboratively across schools, the legal system, child welfare, and other community partners to ensure coordinated, holistic support for youth and caregivers.
At the core of MST, the belief that recovery and growth are most successful when you remain connected to their homes, families, and communities. Youth are supported in their educational environments to promote consistent attendance, positive behavior, and academic success. They are also encouraged to establish and maintain sobriety while working toward healthier family relationships.
Through skill-building, accountability, and compassion, MST helps youth and families develop the tools needed to strengthen mental health, restore hope, and build a future they can feel confident about.
This position includes eligibility for a monthly performance bonus.
What You Will Do:
- Provide person-centered assessment, goal planning, and treatment for mental health and/or substance use issues. Provide screening, intakes, and assessment of clients utilizing required instruments and formats within appropriate timelines.
- Develop strength-based written treatment plans/updates and continuing care plans and make appropriate referrals. Complete written discharge summaries and correspondence within established timelines.
- Assist individuals in improving their well-being and quality of life by training in behavioral skills; educate clients to make information choices; develop client coping skills; help clients to problem solve and negotiate tasks of daily living.
- Maintain electronic health records in accordance with agency standards; confirm coding of services rendered is ethically appropriate and results in successful billing.
- Learn, utilize, and support fidelity of any evidence-based practices within assigned program to ensure effective interventions with clints.
You’re a Great Fit If You:
- Have a Masters Degree in a Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Addictions Counseling, Rehabilitation Counseling, or other relevant clinical degree from an accredited college of university.
- Have a valid driver’s license and an insurable driving record.
- Can successfully complete pre-employment screening, including background check, fingerprinting, and drug and TB testing.
