About the Role:
At North Range Behavioral Health, every role contributes to creating hope, healing, and healthy communities, and our Maintenance Technicians are no exception. As a Maintenance Technician, you play a vital role in ensuring our facilities remain safe, welcoming, secure, and fully operational for the clients, families, and employees who depend on them every day. Working with a high degree of independence and technical expertise, you perform a wide range of preventive maintenance, repairs, and facility improvements across agency buildings, grounds, and essential building systems. From maintaining climate control and security systems to addressing maintenance needs that support uninterrupted behavioral health services, your work creates an environment where compassionate care can thrive. What You Will Do:
- Support a safe, welcoming, and therapeutic environment by completing assigned maintenance requests in a timely, organized, and prioritized manner, minimizing disruptions to client care and agency operations.
- Foster positive relationships through respectful communication with supervisors, colleagues, staff, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure maintenance needs are understood, addressed, and resolved effectively.
- Promote continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance the safety, functionality, appearance, and efficiency of agency facilities, contributing to environments that support healing and recovery.
- Safeguard agency resources by operating maintenance tools and equipment responsibly and maintaining accurate inventories of materials, supplies, and equipment needed to support daily operations.
- Maintain reliable equipment and transportation by ensuring vehicles, tools, and mechanical equipment remain in safe working conditions, performing routine maintenance and repairs, promptly reporting major issues to leadership.
- Help ensure year-round access and safety by providing snow and ice removal and other season facility support to maintain safe access for clients, visitors, and employees across agency locations.
- Deliver quality workmanship by accurately interpreting blueprints, plans, drawings, and specifications to complete projects efficiently and in accordance with agency standards.
- Apply technical expertise to maintain essential building systems by diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining facility infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, roofing, flooring, doors, windows, walls, pneumatic controls, and related building systems to ensure safe, reliable, and comfortable environments.
- Support accountability and regulatory compliance by maintaining accurate, complete, and timely records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
- Model a culture of safety by consistently following established safety procedures, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment, and complying with all applicable regulations and agency policies to protect clients, staff, and visitors.
- Demonstrate flexibility and teamwork by assisting with additional duties and specialist projects as assigned, supporting the agency’s mission and responding to changing organizational needs.
You’re a Great Fit If You:
- Have a High School Diploma or GED
- Have a Valid Colorado Drivers License that meets agency insurability requirements.
- Have at least 3 years of experience in performing installation, operation, construction, maintenance and/or repair work in a related field.
