AMBULATORY SURGERY CENTER - MATERIALS MANAGER
North Queens Surgical Center, is looking for a full-time Materials Manager to join our multispecialty, Joint Commission accredited ambulatory surgery center located in Bayside, New York.
Responsibilities:
Manage materials team staff schedule
Coordinate surgical supply needs with management team
Check booking sheets for needed supplies and equipment, coordinate loaner Instruments, overlook invoice and packing slips, send Invoices to the billing department, make sure all equipment is checked by biomed before 1st use and annually
Taken daily inventory, order office supplies, patients snacks and all medical supplies
Answer phone, transfer calls, over head page staff, communicate with doctors and surgical coordinators
Adheres to and monitors compliance of facilities policies, procedures, philosophy, and objectives

Requirements:
- Minimum two years of operating room experience/ management, preferably in an Ambulatory surgery setting
- Leadership skills
- Organizational and time management skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment efficiently and safely
