Position:
Special Education Teacher
Location:
North Putnam High School
Qualifications:
Hold a current Indiana teaching license in Special Education OR hold a teaching license and meet or willing to meet requirements for a transition to teaching license in special education.
Responsibilities:
Provide focused academic support to students.
Is able to develop student IEPs, hold annual reviews to meet all requirements, and ensure the student's IEP is focused on attainment of grade appropriate academic standards as defined by the state.
Ensure all re-evaluations are completed within the specific timelines.
Work collaboratively with other teachers to provide a stimulating teaching and learning environment for students.
Salary:
Commensurate with experience
