Job Description
We are seeking a Plant IT Manager to own all information technology and operational technology systems inside one or more manufacturing plants. This role is responsible for plant uptime, system reliability, and technology support for production operations. You will serve as the primary technology leader on site, working directly with plant managers, maintenance, engineering, and operations teams.
Responsibilities
Own all IT and OT systems within assigned manufacturing plants
Ensure uptime of plant systems including SAP, MES, networks, servers, and end user systems
Act as on site escalation point for production impacting incidents
Partner with plant leadership to align technology with operational goals
Coordinate with corporate IT while prioritizing plant requirements
Lead plant technology upgrades, deployments, and cutovers
Manage local vendors, integrators, and on site contractors
Participate in plant leadership meetings and operational reviews
Required Qualifications
Experience owning IT systems inside an active manufacturing plant
Experience supporting production critical systems
Strong understanding of plant operations and factory floor environments
Experience working directly with operations, maintenance, and engineering
Comfortable being on site and on the factory floor
