We are seeking a manufacturing systems engineer to support and enhance plant floor systems including PLCs robotics and IoT devices. This role works directly inside manufacturing facilities connecting factory equipment to data platforms and enabling operational visibility optimization and reliability.
This is a hands on plant facing role focused on real time systems equipment integration and data flow from the factory floor.
Responsibilities
Support and maintain plant floor control systems including PLCs robotics and industrial automation equipment
Integrate factory equipment and sensors with IoT and centralized data platforms
Enable real time data collection reporting and operational analytics from manufacturing systems
Work on site with manufacturing engineering maintenance and operations teams
Troubleshoot system connectivity performance and reliability issues
Support deployment of new equipment sensors and automation technologies
Ensure secure and reliable data flow between plant systems and enterprise platforms
Document system architectures integrations and operating procedures
Required Experience
5 or more years of experience supporting manufacturing systems or industrial automation
Hands on experience with PLCs industrial control systems or robotics
Experience integrating plant equipment with IoT platforms or data systems
Experience working inside manufacturing facilities supporting live production
Strong understanding of factory operations and equipment data
Required Qualifications
Manufacturing plant experience required
Hands on execution oriented profile
Comfort working on site in plant environments
Not suited for purely IT infrastructure or software only roles
Must have
Experience supporting PLC based manufacturing systems
Experience connecting factory equipment to IoT or data platforms
Experience enabling operational reporting and optimization from plant floor data
