About the Role
North Point Technology is supporting a major financial services firm in hiring a Lead Full Stack Developer with deep Java expertise and strong leadership-level experience in Angular. This role is critical to the ongoing development and enhancement of a large-scale enterprise Relationship Management application.
You will serve as the primary developer responsible for designing new features, enhancing existing functionality, and supporting document management components within the Java ecosystem. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly independent, and able to take ownership of complex technical challenges with minimal oversight.
Responsibilities
Lead development of a major enterprise Relationship Management application
Design, build, and maintain full-stack solutions using Java (Spring, Spring Boot) and Angular
Analyze complex requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
Enhance and support document management components within the Java ecosystem
Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and engineering teams
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members
Participate in code reviews, testing, and validation processes
Ensure best practices in modular code design, CI/CD, and secure coding
Recommend improvements to system performance, maintainability, and architecture
Participate in production support rotations and handle escalated issues
Required Skills
8 years of hands-on experience in Java (Java 8 ), Spring, Spring Boot, REST, SOAP, and Microservices
5 years of Angular development in a full-stack capacity
Strong understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns
Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and distributed caching strategies
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Exposure to streaming technologies (Kafka is a plus)
Experience in financial services or enterprise-scale environments
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
