Job Summary
The Kid Point Elementary (K-5th grades) Director brings energy and vision to everything Elementary—creating safe, engaging, and dynamic spaces where families can experience the love of Jesus every single week. This leader rallies and champions a strong volunteer team to live out the Kid Point vision, brings to life fun and meaningful curriculum, and drives smooth processes that help kids take steps on their journey of following Jesus.
Required Competencies:
Basecamp, Planning Center, Social Media, GROW Curriculum
Required Results:
- Understanding of childhood development stages
- Create community on your teams, through building volunteer teams
- Lead effective systems of follow-up, appreciation, and connection through the workflow system
- Mobilize, train, and schedule new volunteers within the ladder system
Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
- Mobilize, train, and equip the right leaders and engage them in the mission of Kid Point
- Communicate using professional and positive (“Yes”) language
- Set the example of excellence by having all the tools and resources set up and ready to go for all your areas before the weekend
- Empower volunteers by providing intentional and effective onboarding and training on policies and procedures, equipping them to succeed and create safe environments for both leaders and kids
- Provide a safe, constant environment with the right rooms open and always following safety non-negotiables
- Work in conjunction with Kid Point Director on Ratio Tracker and budget for Elementary, Zone 45, and Sensory Point
- Communicate and collaborate consistently with Kid Point Director, Campus Pastor, and Central
Days per week: Saturday - Wednesday
Hours per week: 40 hours
