Job Overview

Duties
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, including assessment, planning, and implementation.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic health record systems such as SIS.
- Monitor patients for changes in condition and report findings to the healthcare team.
- Perform Pre-admission interview with patients and obtain any pre-op testing performed.
Requirements
- Valid nursing license in the state of practice.
- ACLS and BLS certification.
- 2 years of Pre-op or Pre-admission nursing preferred.
- Strong knowledge of physiology and nursing principles.
- Ability to adhere to HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Previous experience using electronic health record systems such as SIS is advantageous.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and education in nursing practices.
