Schedule/Calendar: 7.5 hours/day 37.5 hours/week 191 days/year
Summary: The Behavioral Analyst guides behavior change for students based on knowledge of behavioral theory, analysis, and evidence-based practices, and actively collaborates with school teams.
Essential Functions
Physical Requirements: Sedentary Light work Medium work Heavy work Very heavy work requires ability to use physical restraints
Sedentary: involves sitting most of the time. Incumbent should be able to exert up to 10 lbs of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or move objects.
Light work: If the use of arm and/or leg control requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the individual sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work. The incumbent should be able to exert up to 20 lbs of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
Medium work: The incumbent should be able to exert up to 50 lbs of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs of force constantly to move objects.
Heavy work: The incumbent should be able to exert up to 100 lbs of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 lbs of force frequently, and/or up to 20 lbs of force constantly to move objects.
Very heavy work: The incumbent should be able to exert in excess of 100 lbs of force occasionally, and in excess of 50 lbs of force frequently, and in excess of 20 lbs of force constantly to move objects.

- Conducts functional behavior assessments and supports development of positive behavior support plans
- Consults the multidisciplinary team in the development of behavioral plans, professional learning or behavioral principles
- Intervenes in crisis situations
- Provides professional development on behavior and crisis techniques to staff, including verbal de-escalation and physical restraint
- Ability to travel between buildings
- Additional duties as assigned by supervisor
- Bachelor's Degree
- BCBA certification
- 3-5 years' experience in behavioral field
- Data collection
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Ability to collaborate with a team, work under strict timelines, and prioritize tasks
- Crisis intervention skills
