Schedule/Calendar: 7.50 hrs. per day 37.50 hours/week 261 number of days/year
Summary: This position provides direct support to the Director of Elementary Education in all areas related to the Elementary Department inclusive of support to elementary schools, parents, and the community.

- Provides support to the Director with correspondence, phone messages, scheduling appointments, and maintaining the calendar
- Processes and maintains data for Elementary Transfer of Attendance Applications
- Serves as a resource to elementary principal secretaries and building secretaries
- Prepares purchase orders and contracts
- Assists with budgetary reports and preparation
- Creates and organizes information in a database
- Assists with items for School Board agendas
- Develops and maintains a system of record keeping and tracking of elementary functions, i.e., field trips, district and building meeting schedules, intervention hour compliance, etc.
- Serves as a resource and support to the district registrar
- Interacts with parents and community members
- Observes all board policy and administrative regulations regarding attendance, confidentiality of information, and community relations
- Provides secretarial support to the curriculum department as assigned
- Coordinates reports and monitors documentation as needed for the elementary learning and curriculum departments
- Performs other duties as requested by the Director of Elementary Education and the Director of Curriculum
- High school diploma/Secretarial Coursework
- Associate's degree preferred

- Proficient in the use of computers, telephone systems, and fax/copier equipment
- Ability to work well with all stakeholders
