The Clinical Affiliate: A Rewarding NPU Partnership
The Clinical Affiliate ("CA") is an unpaid partnership between North Park University and the CA. Clinical Affiliates are assigned a North Park University ID number and receive limited access to certain campus locations. Further, Clinical Affiliates receive an NPU ID badge, which must be worn whenever they are on campus.
The Clinical Affiliate will precept at least one Advanced Practice Nursing Student annually.
This role is an unpaid role. In lieu of payment, the Clinical Affiliate receives certain other perquisites, including the following:
· Library Privileges (both online and in-person)
· Access to Helwig Recreation Center
· Ability to identify themselves as a North Park University School of Nursing Clinical Affiliate
- The Clinical Affiliate must be currently precepting a nursing student and have precepted an Advanced Practice Nursing Student at least once in the prior two years.
- Clinical Affiliates will be required to participate in various campus training event, including Title IX, Cybersecurity, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (“DEI”).
- Board Certified and licensed in IL APRN in FNP, AGPC, Women's Health or Licensed MD in IL or Licensed PA in IL
- The Clinical Affiliate must have currently or within the last 12 months precepted a North Park University Advanced Practice Nursing Student at least once in the prior two years.
