Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists head coach with match, tournament, and practice planning/evaluation.
- Analyze performance and instruct athletes in volleyball techniques and strategies in preparation for and during athletics competition.
- Ensure a commitment to the academic success of volleyball student-athletes.
- Build and sustain positive relationships with student-athletes, parents, alumni, faculty, staff, and the campus community.
- Help manage equipment usage.
- Complete other duties as assigned by the Head Men’s Volleyball Coach, Assistant Vice President for Athletics and Sport Management, and Associate and Assistant Athletic Directors.
Stipend: $3,000
- Coaching or playing experience is required.
- Applicant must be able to work an untraditional work schedule (i.e. frequent nights and weekends).
- Able to lift and move athletic equipment.
- Able to travel with team, by vehicle or plane.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Possess a clear understanding and personal commitment to North Park University’s mission of Christian Higher education.
