Operations Manager – Property Management

Job Description:

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Operations Manager – Property Management to lead and optimize our property management operations. This high-impact role focuses on enhancing operational efficiency, managing team performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and handling high-level escalations.

While direct experience in property management is preferred, we are open to candidates with strong operations leadership backgrounds in related industries who can bring process-driven thinking and strong team management skills to the role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Strategy: Develop and execute strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support company growth.
  
• Team Leadership: Oversee and mentor a team of 16 property management professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
  
• Process Optimization: Streamline workflows, implement operational policies, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  
• Escalation Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for high-level tenant, owner, and vendor issues, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
  
• Portfolio Growth: Identify and support opportunities to expand the property portfolio and drive revenue.
  
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to Fair Housing laws, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other applicable regulations.
  
• Financial Oversight: Monitor KPIs, review financial reports, and ensure the team meets revenue and profitability goals.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

• 5 years of operations and management experience, preferably in property management or a related industry.
  
• Proven ability to manage and resolve complex escalations involving tenants, owners, and regulatory bodies.
  
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
  
• Exceptional conflict resolution and negotiation abilities.
  
• Data-driven mindset with experience tracking KPIs and managing budgets.
  
• Familiarity with property management software such as AppFolio is a plus, but not required.
