About the Role: Full-Time Line Cook at Ashland Springs Hotel
The Line Cook plays a crucial role in the culinary operations of our real estate development's on-site dining facilities, ensuring that high-quality meals are prepared and served to our residents and guests. This position requires a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Line Cook will collaborate closely with the head chef and kitchen staff to execute the daily menu, maintain kitchen equipment, and uphold the standards of our culinary offerings. Attention to detail and a passion for food are essential, as the Line Cook will be responsible for the presentation and taste of each dish. Ultimately, this role contributes to creating a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience that enhances the overall living experience within our properties.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Culinary degree or certification from an accredited institution.
- Experience in a high-volume kitchen environment.
- Familiarity with various cooking techniques and cuisines.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the daily menu and special requests.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist in the inventory management of kitchen supplies and ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and cooking stations.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control.
