Job Summary

Under the general direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Administrative Services, the Administrator of Instructional Programs (Principal) provides visionary oversight and coordination of curriculum and Career Technical Education (CTE) pathways and programs. This position supervises CTE instructors, by setting clear strategic goals, and ensuring that instructors have the necessary resources, support, and professional development to implement effective, research-based instructional practices that enhance student learning outcomes. To ensure that NOCROP’s high-quality CTE programs continue to grow and meet student, school, and the community's needs, the Administrator’s role as a roving Principal focuses on collaborating and building positive community relations. North Orange County ROP is seeking candidates with assistant principal experience and/or principal experience who are searching for their next professional growth opportunity.

Requirements / Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: (A) Five or more years of extensive, directly related, and progressive experience in career technical education, including at least three years of successful teaching. (B) A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college/university is required. A master’s degree in education or a closely related field from an institution of higher learning accredited by one of the six regional accreditation associations as recognized by the Council of Postsecondary Accreditation. (C) Possession of a valid California teaching credential (authorizing teaching at the secondary level) and/or designated subjects vocational credential at the high school and adult level and an appropriate California Administrative Credential is required.
