Summary:
The Specialty Services Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations for the Dental and Vision departments, ensuring efficient and high-quality patient care, and managing staff. This role involves coordinating schedules, handling patient inquiries, overseeing financial operations, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the dental and vision clinics, ensuring maximum productivity and operational excellence.

Staff Supervision: Manage and supervise clinic staff, including Dentists and Dental clinic manager, Optometrist(s) and vision care staff. Provide training and development opportunities to ensure high-quality job performance and customer service. Perform annual evaluations for all direct reporting staff

Patient Care: Ensure that patients receive high-quality care and address any patient concerns or complaints promptly.

Access and Optimization: Coordinate with dental manager to manage staff and patient schedules to optimize clinic efficiency, schedule utilization, and patient flow.

Financial Management: Oversee the financial operations of the departments, including budgeting and revenue cycle management in collaboration with the Patient Accounts department.

Compliance: Ensure the clinic complies with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards.

Inventory Management: Work with the dental office manager and vision team to oversee the ordering and inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring that the clinic is well-stocked, and equipment is maintained.

Collaboration: Work closely with other departments and leadership to achieve clinic goals and improve overall clinic performance.

Provider Relations: Direct management of dental and optometry providers.

Qualifications
Qualifications:

Education: Education: High School diploma required. Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience: Years of experience may substitute for some of the higher education requirements. 5 years of supervisory or managerial experience, preferably within a medical/dental/vision clinic setting.

Skills: Demonstrated success in establishing relationships with staff, providers and leadership. Proven success with planning and implementation of decisions affecting growth and development. Strong leadership and team management skills.

Possess advanced computer abilities. Demonstrate ability to work with all applications of Microsoft including Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, etc.

Benefits:

Salary : $75,000 - $82,500
