What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kids Club Attendant position at North OC Fitness?
Kids Club hours M-F 8am-11:30am M-F 4pm-7pm and Saturday and Sunday 8am-12pm
As a Kids Club staff member you will be responsible for playing, entertaining and ensuring the Safety and well being of our smallest Gym members. We seek fun, energetic staff with great communication skills who have a love for caring for children. This position is looked at as a vital part of our Membership perks as it allows our members the freedom to workout while we care for their little ones.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Ensuring the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks - 11 years
- Maintain a warm and safe environment that is clean and permits children to grow and explore
- Provide effective communication with parents/guardians about their child
- Keep a positive attitude and engage with parents/guardians, children and colleagues
- Present with a neat, clean, and professional appearance
QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with children,parents/guardians and staff
- Ability to work and multitask in a fast paced high volume environment
- Must be able to lift and hold a small child
- Flexible work schedule
- Functional computer and telephone skills
- Ability to complete minor cleaning duties
- Must be 17 years or older
