Pharmacy Technician

We are looking for a licensed pharmacy technician who have at least 1* year of experience* and excellent customer service skills. Knowledge of the Digital RX pharmacy system is a real plus.

Pharmacy Technician duties are:

• Answering phones, scheduling appointment, reminding patients to pick their Rx.
• Ringing up purchases and stocking shelves.
• Make sure the pharmacy stays clean and organized
• Welcoming Customers
• Delivering medications to patients home or work place
• Cleaning work areas and sterilizing containers
• Ensure confidentiality and privacy of Personal Health Information (PHI) as needed by
• Direct client to consultation window for pharmacist consultation.
• Maintain and manage insurance signature logs by end date for filling up.
• Verify prescriptions orders with respect to names, number of orders per bag and so on.
• File and manage all prescription hard copies.
• Type and billing prescriptions to the insurance company
• Managing HIPAA, Recycle, and Regular trash
• Managing inventory of OTC section
• Filling Prescriptions under pharmacist supervision
• Managing Pharmacy inventory

Excellent communication and customer service skill

Experience in retail is a plus

Spanish speaking is a plus

Ability to stand, bend, lift, and kneel for four or more hours

Previous compounding experience is a plus

One year pharmacy technician experience is required.

Pay rate would be discussed based on the experience.
