Overview:
North Oaks Financial Group is seeking an independent professional to join our team as Associate Advisor. The primary focus of this full-time position will be guiding clients through a proven process for holistic financial planning. Ideal candidates are confident, friendly, organized, efficient, professional, relational, resourceful, self-aware, and open to learning.
We have a similar position posted for candidates with less experience and no licensure, but applicants for this position should have at least 3 years of experience and an established client base. (We will be hiring for one or the other.)
Position: Full-time / In-person
Pay: $75,000-175,000 salary
Benefits: 401K and PTO
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Manage relationships with existing clients
- Lead meetings for new clients to begin using our planning software
- Guide clients through a process to develop their financial plan
- Prepare financial reports and other materials for client meetings
- Provide service/support for wealth management clients on an as-needed basis
- Seek opportunities to extend our services/support to client's family and friends
- Nurture relationships within your personal network and invite those who would benefit from what we do to learn how our process could be helpful
- Maintain accurate client information and documentation of recommendations
Abilities & Skills:
- General knowledge of financial planning services
- Strong communication skills (writing and speaking)
- Computer skills, with knowledge of: Microsoft Office products and CRMs
- Detail oriented with superior organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Positive team player
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional interpersonal and problem solving skills
- Goal oriented, self-motivated and results driven
Professional Experience: 3 years in "advisor" role with an established client base (required)
Licensure: Active FINRA Series 7 (incl SIE) & Series 65 or Series 66 (required)
Education: college degree (preferred)
