**Equipment Management:** * Operates, inspects, maintains, and/or troubleshoot equipment and components * Repair or replace defective equipment/components * Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure equipment runs efficiently * Installs new equipment/components **Document Utilization:** * Utilize and adhere to applicable diagrams, drawings, blueprints, and manufacturer’s manuals **Performance Improvement:** * Reviews design modifications and recommend performance improvements **Liaison:** * Serves as a liaison between Facility Operations, departments, manufacturers, and vendors **Reporting:** * Analyze information/data and evaluate results to determine best solution to problem/issue * Maintains record of repairs and/or maintenance * Performs and records equipment efficiency evaluations **Communication:** * Accurately and effectively communicate to Staff, patients, visitors, vendors, consultants, and contractors **Customer Service:** * Effectively and efficiently respond to customer complaints/requests/needs **Budget:** * Complies with departmental budget **Educations:** * Stay abreast of changings in technology that affects equipment * Educate and train “ junior” staff members as needed **Regulation**: * Adheres to NMHS/NMMC Policies/Procedures/Guidelines * Complies with appropriate Local/State/Federal policies/procedures/guideline/regulations/laws/statues **Job Knowledge:**
* High school diploma or equivalent with minimum of 3 years’ experience required; associates degree or advanced training with equivalent experience preferred * Valid State Driver’s License with approved driving history; required * Excellent problem solving, decision making and analytical skills; required * Good organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills; required * Working knowledge of equipment operations, maintenance, installation (as described in Essential Functions); required * Excellent interpersonal skills; required
