Account Manager
North Mill Equipment Finance, a fast-growing equipment lender headquartered in Norwalk, Connecticut, is seeking an experienced senior account manager in our Irvine, CA location. This person will join a team with a decisive mission – to deliver outstanding, unparalleled customer service to the equipment finance brokers with whom we count on to sustain and grow our business.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in credit, sales, documentation, and funding. Strong math, problem-solving, and communication skills are a must along with the ability to work with others in a fast-paced, high-energy, growth-oriented environment. An understanding of lease and loan products is preferred.
Responsibilities include:
- Working collaboratively with other account managers to create a results-oriented team that prides itself in the delivery of optimal service and in meeting service goals, metrics, and service-level-agreements
- Proactive outbound calling made to brokers, espousing the NMEF value proposition, in order to generate leads for the organization
- Managing multiple tasks and meeting aggressive deadlines
- Possessing a high energy, strong desire to achieve top results with a charismatic, positive “can-do" attitude
- Assure the compliance of company credit and funding standards and performing day-to-day activities within the document and funding department
- Providing assistance to our broker partners and answering questions and solving issues in a timely manner
- Continually gauging customer service satisfaction and report results to the team leader
- Processing and closing between 25-40 transactions a day
- Managing the on-boarding of new customers and ensuring transactions are completed within designated SLAs
Qualifications
- Four-year college degree in marketing, salesmanship, or finance preferred
- Proven excellence in providing impeccable customer experience
- An ability to adjust behavior accordingly to manage different personality types to yield optimal outcomes
- Proven teamwork skills and the ability to work independently
- Understanding of leases and loans preferred
- Ability to problem solve complex situations or ask for assistance in doing so.
