What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Education - Teacher/Case Manager - Temporary position at North Marion Intermediate School?
North Marion Intermediate School is seeking a Temporary Special Education Teacher / Case Manager for the remainder of the 2026-2027 school year to create a vibrant learning community for students.
This position plays a key role in supporting students with special needs. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support the identification of students in need of Special Education Services
- Identify individual learning needs and provide targeted instruction to support student growth and learning.
- Writing and implementation of Individual Education Programs (IEP)
- Consult with and provide assistance to classroom teachers in their efforts to support students experiencing disabilities in their classroom
- Establish relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a sense of belonging and community
Qualifications include but are not limited to:
- Bachelor’s Degree with an endorsement in Special Education
- Valid Oregon Teaching License with applicable Special Education endorsements and authorization level(s)
- Must meet all other TSPC license requirements, including Background and Criminal History Clearance
- Ability to maintain strength of knowledge and practice in instructional skills and strategies
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of subject matter, to seek professional growth, improve classroom instruction, and to qualify for license renewal by following both state and district regulations
