Duties
- Provide attentive pet care including feeding, administering medications, and monitoring health status.
- Handle dogs and other animals with confidence, ensuring safe restraint and gentle handling during daily activities.
- Assist with dog training sessions to promote good behavior and socialization skills.
- Perform pet grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming to keep animals comfortable and clean.
- Support veterinary technicians or assistants with basic animal care procedures and kennel management.
- Engage with pet owners through excellent customer service, answering questions and providing updates on their pets’ well-being.
- Maintain a clean, organized environment by cleaning kennels, feeding areas, and grooming stations while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in dog handling, pet sitting, or kennel work is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary experience is a strong plus.
- Background in veterinary technician or assistant roles demonstrates familiarity with animal health procedures.
- Skills in pet grooming, animal restraint, and general animal care are essential for success.
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely is required for handling supplies or assisting with larger animals.
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
