NLVC is looking to add an experienced, detail-oriented, and compassionate receptionist to our front desk team. As the first point of contact for our clients and their pets, our customer service representatives play a vital role in client experience. This is not a rush hire -we're simply opening the door for the right person to join us when the fit feels right.
About the role:
We create a warm and welcoming experience while keeping daily operations running smoothly. We're looking for someone who's confident in a fast-paced environment and has prior experience in a veterinary customer-service setting.
What You'll Do
- Greet clients and their pets with kindness and professionalism.
- Manage phones, appointments, and client communication.
- Handle check-ins/check-outs and accurate record-keeping.
- Support the medical team by keeping the front desk organized and efficient.
- Provide exceptional customer service during both calm and busy periods.

- Previous veterinary reception or general clinic experience.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, positive demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and stay composed under pressure.
- Comfort with scheduling software and client-management systems.
