Grant funded; Part-time/Temporary (up to 29 hours/week) within regular Housing Authority business hours of M-F, 8a-4:30p
$18/hr.
Seeking applicants for the position of Housing Specialist for the HOME-American Rescue Plan Program (ARP). HOME-ARP has roughly 30 /- participants.
Duties:
- Application intake and waiting list management
- Client interviews to determine program eligibility
- Conduct program briefings and issue vouchers
- Prepares and sends copies of contracts and leases to landlords and tenants
- Conduct interims and annual recertifications
- Unit Inspections – initial, annual and complaint
Must be able to work with a diverse population; be detail-oriented; have demonstrated computer skills and strong customer service skills. Personal vehicle required; mileage reimbursement. Experience with HUD housing programs preferred but not required. Candidates must demonstrate an ability to work independently and with others.
