Tired of your corporate job? Manage our Mortuary as if it's your own. Our Mortuary is a small but busy, private family owned (but not run), single location, full service funeral home and crematory. We are not tied to a cemetery. We pride ourselves in offering a wide range of selections and service styles and are passionate about assisting families to create a personalized meaningful farewell for their loved ones. The team works to ensure the expectations of our over 400 families that we serve each year are exceeded and the community efficiently served.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee routine clerical and administrative functions such as handling appointments, organizing and maintaining files and providing information to callers and clients in-person
- Manage staffing
- Support funeral staff, greeting families, providing hospitality, and assisting with the scheduling of funeral services.
- Processing contracts and payments
- Meet with families to make pre arrangements or at-need services
- Community outreach
- Provide exceptional service to our local community
Job qualifications
- 3 years experience as a manager in the funeral business with current funeral directors and embalming license with the state of California
- compassion and the desire to serve those in need.
- Clean driving record
- must work well in a team environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
