Job Purpose
The donation processor assists the team to select acceptable inventory for the NKC thrift store, determine inventory status, prep and restock inventory as necessary, operate a store point of sale system, and assist donation attendant.

Job Purpose
The donation processor assists the team to select acceptable inventory for the NKC thrift store, determine inventory status, prep and restock inventory as necessary, operate a store point of sale system, and assist donation attendant.
Duties and responsibilities
- Process donations based on season and demand.
- Clean, organize, and fold clothing for display in store and/or storing based on season.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized sorting and inventory area.
- Ensure the proper display of merchandise.
- Follow organization’s policies and procedures regarding cash handling.
- Cross train with the retail store staff on a POS system including assisting customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
- Display excellent customer service by treating donors and store shoppers respectfully and courteously.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Production, retail, or similar experience
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Selfstarter with ability to work independently
