What are the responsibilities and job description for the Library Clerk position at North Kansas City Public Library?
The North Kansas City Public Library is seeking a part-time Library Clerk who is passionate about engaging patrons from all backgrounds and providing excellent customer service.
Duties Include: Assisting customers, circulation desk tasks, shelving books, maintaining an inviting library atmosphere and a variety of other duties as needed.
Requirements/Desired Qualities: High School diploma or GED. Computer skills. Excellent customer service and a positive attitude. Willingness to learn, accept help & ask questions when needed.
12 Hours per week. The schedule will include evening shifts from 5-9pm and weekend shifts. More shifts available based on availability and need.
Previous public library experience preferred.
