About The Role
The Team Administrator & Player Care Officer oversees the administrative and logistical side of first team operations and is the main point of contact for player care and welfare. You'll keep the day-to-day running smoothly and support our players on and off the field. The Team Administrator & Player Care Officer oversees the administrative and logistical side of first team operations and is the main point of contact for player care and welfare. You'll keep the day-to-day running smoothly and support our players on and off the field. What You'll Do
Team Administration
- Coordinate logistics and operational needs for training, travel, and match days
- Manage communication and scheduling between coaching staff, front office, league officials, and stadium operations
- Oversee team travel, including flights, hotels, ground transportation, and meals
- Manage player registration, league compliance, and documentation with USL and U.S. Soccer
- Maintain databases for player eligibility, contracts, and league correspondence
- Support the CEO and Head of Soccer with team budgets and expense tracking
- Serve as the main point of contact for players on off-field matters, including housing, relocation, and community integration
- Coordinate housing logistics for players and staff, including leases, utilities, and maintenance issues
- Develop and maintain a player induction and onboarding process
- Help players access medical, mental health, and wellness resources as needed
- Foster a supportive, inclusive environment that prioritizes player wellbeing, professionalism, and personal growth
- Work with player families, agents, and club departments to provide consistent support
- Assist with matchday operations, including credentialing, equipment logistics, and stadium coordination
- Communicate with match officials and league representatives on game days
- Support the Head of Soccer and Head Coach with scheduling, scouting, and communication needs
- Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in team administration, player liaison, or operations in a professional or collegiate sports environment
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a service-oriented mindset
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong understanding of league rules and compliance processes (USL experience preferred)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, based on the competition schedule
- Passion for soccer and alignment with the club's mission and values
