What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mascot position at North Jersey Pro Baseball LLC?
The New Jersey Jackals are looking for an energetic, outgoing, and creative individual to bring our beloved mascot to life for the 2025 season! As the face of our brand, you’ll entertain fans, represent the team at community events, and create memorable experiences both in and out of the ballpark.
Responsibilities:
- Perform as the official NJ Jackals mascot during all home games and select community events.
- Interact with fans of all ages to enhance the overall game-day experience.
- Assist in developing fun, engaging skits and in-game entertainment ideas.
- Represent the Jackals at schools, festivals, and other appearances to promote the team and our partners.
- Work closely with the marketing and promotions team to increase brand visibility.
- Maintain and care for the mascot costume and props.
Qualifications:
- Outgoing personality with strong improvisational and communication skills.
- Must be comfortable performing in front of large crowds and working in a costume for extended periods.
- Physically fit and able to handle summer heat and high-energy movement.
- Previous mascot, acting, dance, or performance experience preferred but not required.
- Availability for all home games, select weekends, holidays, and community appearances.
