Duties
- Install, repair, and replace tires on a variety of vehicles, including passenger cars and light trucks
- Perform wheel alignments and balance tires to ensure optimal vehicle handling and safety
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, fluid replacements, and minor mechanical repairs
- Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to perform tire service and mechanical tasks
- Diagnose automotive issues using basic automotive diagnostics techniques and recommend appropriate repairs
- Assist with vehicle inspections to identify mechanical problems or safety concerns
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and addressing customer questions professionally
Requirements
- Previous dealership or automotive service experience is highly preferred
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, including tire, suspension, and fluid components
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and automotive diagnostic equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling tires and vehicle parts
- Familiarity with standard passenger car operation and basic mechanical repairs
