Responsibilities
- Greet and check in patients, verify demographics and insurance, and manage appointment scheduling using EMR/EHR and patient management software.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to health regulation policies; handle medical terminology accurately in documentation.
- Provide excellent customer service, answer phones, route inquiries, and coordinate with clinical staff to optimize daily workflow.
- Process registrations, collect payments/co-pays, and manage insurance verification and coding as applicable.
- Assist with medical office tasks, maintain organized records, and ensure office operations run smoothly.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and patient management software; strong EMR/EHR experience
- Knowledge of health regulation policies and medical terminology; ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Experience in medical administrative support and office operations; excellent customer service
- Familiarity with health insurance processes; medical office experience is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills; capability to manage front-desk duties and patient flow
- Premium: prior medical office experience; safety and compliance awareness with health regulations
Pay: $19.23 - $19.97 per hour
