Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred
- Minimum of three (3) years of medical office experience
- Comprehensive healthcare experience required
- Ophthalmology experience strongly preferred
Certifications
- Clinic Positions: Current COMT, COT, or COA certification, or ability to obtain within six (6) months

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead assigned teams, directing daily activities to meet North Idaho Eye Institute goals and objectives
- Provide leadership, training, and ongoing support to team members
- Collaborate with the Clinic Manager on staffing, workflow planning, and daily operations
- Manage clinic inventory, including ordering and maintaining appropriate supply and medication levels
- Provide backup staffing and clinical support as needed, including cross-department assistance
- Develop, monitor, and analyze workload standards and productivity reports; make operational improvement recommendations to leadership
- Lead with compassion, sound judgment, and effective communication across all departments
- Foster a positive, accountable, and collaborative team culture aligned with company core values
- Coordinate new hire training and maintain accurate training records for new and existing staff
- Communicate changes in policies, procedures, and working standards to staff
- Gather data, compile information, and prepare reports as requested
- Identify and support implementation of process improvement initiatives
- Conduct performance evaluations in collaboration with the Clinic Manager and provide ongoing feedback and coaching
- Process payroll timesheets, time-off requests, and employment documentation for assigned teams
- Monitor staff performance and coach for improvement and growth
- Lead by example to create a motivated, engaged, and patient-focused work environment
