Security Guard – NHCAC Health Center(s)

North Hudson Community Action Corporation (NHCAC) is seeking a full-time Security Guard for our Jersey City Health Center. The Security Guard is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, staff, and property. This role includes monitoring facility access, conducting security rounds, observing surveillance systems, and responding to incidents in a professional and timely manner. The position also supports patient flow, visitor management, and overall safety operations while utilizing strong customer service and de-escalation skills to promote a respectful healthcare environment.

Must have a high school diploma or GED and 2–3 years of security experience, preferably in a healthcare or customer service setting. A valid New Jersey driver’s license is required; SORA certification is preferred, and a CDL license is a plus. Bi-lingual English/Spanish.
