Position Summary:
The Facility Administrator is responsible for the overall management of the dialysis facility, including clinical operations, staff supervision, regulatory compliance, and financial oversight. The FA will ensure that patient care is delivered in accordance with all CMS, state, and federal regulations while fostering a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct daily operations of the dialysis facility.
Oversee staff performance, including hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluations.
Ensure facility compliance with all state, federal, and CMS regulations.
Manage clinical and operational outcomes to meet quality goals.
Maintain a safe and effective working environment.
Monitor and manage facility budget, including cost control and revenue.
Serve as liaison with physicians, hospital personnel, vendors, and community organizations.
Oversee patient scheduling, admissions, and discharges.
Lead emergency preparedness and ensure staff readiness for disasters.
Drive staff education on company policies, procedures, and clinical practices.
Attend governing body meetings and provide facility reports.
Monitor clinical audits and lead plan of correction activities, as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas (required).
Minimum 2 years of dialysis management experience (required).
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field (preferred).
Strong knowledge of ESRD regulations, CMS Conditions for Coverage, and Texas Administrative Code 117.
Proven leadership and organizational skills.
Proficiency with electronic health records and dialysis-specific software.
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
