HOW WILL YOU MAKE CHANGE HAPPEN?
Support operational transformations and initiatives-Directs, manages, plans, and administers the operational and administrative activities for the program.
You Will
- Operational Execution:
- Ensure successful execution of operational work each season
- Integrate and manage Transform activities alongside regular operations
- Maintain and update Ops Smartsheet activities
- Report work status to the Program team
- Capacity Management and Prioritization:
- Implement and manage prioritization using Kanban methodology
- Surface capacity constraints and manage trade-offs between priorities
- Monitor and track burndown rates to anticipate capacity issues early
- Planning and Risk Management:
- Plan upcoming 3-month periods to ensure team readiness for future work
- Collaborate with management on dependencies and risks
- Identify and manage risks across various work streams
- Backlog Management:
- Oversee backlog scrumming processes
- Ensure work has capacity for all stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, Training, and Deployment
- Meeting Facilitation and Coordination:
- Run Ops meetings 1-2 times per week for work in progress
- Determine Ops availability for Program workshops in collaboration with Squad lead
- Manage SME involvement in program status meetings, limiting participation to key aligned topics
- Process Improvement:
- Establish and improve Ways of Working
- 7-10 years of Program Management experience supporting operational transformations
- Strong understanding of foundational product creation concepts and terminology
- Extensive subject matter knowledge to identify risks across various work streams
- Exceptional execution and organizational abilities
- Proficiency in tracking and analyzing burndown rates for capacity management
- Experience with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities in high-pressure situations
- Adaptability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
