North Haven High School is seeking a long term math substitute teacher for Algebra 1 and Geometry. The position will be from approximately the end of October through the end of the school year.
In our school of just under 1,000 students, we have a math department of 13 teachers led by a full time grade 6-12 math department coordinator and supported by an assistant principal.
In our 4 by 4, alternate-day block schedule, NHHS faculty members teach 3 classes one day and two the other day (plus a duty). Each day, faculty have an 82 minute unassigned planning period plus a 30 minute lunch.
