Description of ESY
ESY is a continuation of educational support services provided to our students who qualify for special education services and ESY through a PPT. Services are provided to students ages 3-22. ESY will run for four (4) or five (5) weeks during summer 2026. Positions are determined by student need. Candidates must be able to work the entire date range (four or five weeks).

Responsibilities
- Working with students with a variety of disabilities;
- Handle with Care Trained (or willing to be trained);
- Implement goals and objectives on each student’s IEP (with support from classroom teacher);
- Support classroom teacher in data collection (if necessary);
- Collaborate closely with all staff;
- Diaper changing and lifting changing may be required;
- Student supervision;
- Maintain consistent and punctual attendance; and
- Student Centered.
Summer 2026 ESY Dates
4 Week Program:
June 29 - July 23, 2026, Monday–Thursday
- Elementary (PreK-Grade 5) – 9:00AM-12:00PM
- Secondary (Grades 6-transition) – 8:00AM-11:00AM
5 Week Program:
June 29 -July 30, 2025 Monday–Thursday
- Elementary (PreK-Grade 5) – 9:00AM-12:00PM
- Secondary (Grades 6-transition) – 8:00AM-11:00AM

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit and talk or hear.
