Bilingual Assistant / Translator (Part-time / as needed)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned.
- Serve as an interpreter at any school function, session, or conference that requires this service
- Translate any written communications that may be needed in the student or parent/guardian's home language
- Assist in the enrollment process
- Serve as a link between school and families
- Assist in creating a welcoming environment for students and their families
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
None.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Exceptional fluency and literacy in both English and Spanish
- Ability to speak effectively with staff, students, and community members
SUMMARY:
Part-time / as needed
Available to assist with meetings, conferences and other school functions both during the school day and evenings / weekends.
