Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, organize, and oversee the 5th grade girls basketball team, including practices and games.
- Create a positive team culture that promotes academic success, personal growth, and athletic excellence.
- Design and implement strategies, plays, and techniques to build a competitive program.
- Supervise, mentor, and collaborate with assistant coaches to ensure the program’s success.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with players, parents and school staff.
- Manage equipment and uniforms in conjunction with the Assistant Athletic Director.
Qualifications:
- Previous basketball/coaching experience is preferred.
- Superior communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Understanding of coaching principles, techniques, and basketball strategy.
