Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues accurately.
• Conduct repairs on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, powertrain components, suspension, shocks & struts, brakes, and steering.
• Execute routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, and vehicle inspections to ensure optimal performance.
• Repair and replace mechanical parts using hand tools and power tools efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
• Work on complex systems including diesel engines, foreign & domestic vehicles, and welding tasks when necessary.
• Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot issues effectively and ensure precise repairs.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and offering recommendations for ongoing vehicle maintenance.

Qualifications

• Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance.
• Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, transmissions, and diesel engine repair.
• Skilled in using automotive diagnostics equipment, schematics reading, and auto estimating software.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair tools.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform brake repair, suspension work, shocks & struts replacement, and tire service.
• Familiarity with ADAS technology and auto electrical systems is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to vehicle maintenance.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
