Role Description
This is a part-time, full-time on-site role for a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) located in Orange Park, FL. The SLPA will assist licensed Speech Language Pathologists in providing therapy to children, implementing treatment plans, and tracking patient progress. Responsibilities include conducting speech therapy sessions and supporting children with speech and communication disorders. The SLPA will also interact with families and caregivers to ensure a collaborative approach to each child's care.
Qualifications
- Certified Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in the State of Florida
- Previous experience in a pediatric setting is a plus, training will be provided
- Bachelor's degree in Communcation Sciences and Disorders or equivalent course work
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with children and families
Pay
$20.00-$25.00 an hour
